There are a lot of places women can do for outfit inspiration online, like Pinterest, for example. But it’s super hard to find the individual pieces they’ll need to put that outfit together disjointed across different stores where links are outdated, sizes are out of stock, and shipping costs are prohibitive.
Our client saw opportunity in offering outfit inspiration that has that next step for shoppers where they can find the ideas and inspiration easily buy the outfits they like.
Our job was to build the brand, the website and user experience, and SEO/AEO so her site is findable for her target customer. Her marketing strategy was through social media, primarily Instagram.

Brand identity: Calm, editorial fashion voice
We wanted Best Outfits Today to have the softness of a fashion editorial and look of a modern digital product, while retaining the warmth of personal styling and the neutrality to scale across evolving fashion trends.
We designed two brand directions and the client chose variation 1: refined, timeless, and scalable, with a modern serif type and a bold geometric “B” icon which would become the foundation for her logo.
For most of our startup clients we design a mini brand design system they can build on as they’re ready, including base color palette, typography + guidelines, spacing rules, custom icons, button behaviors, and card components. Lightweight, intentional, and easy for developers to use later.
Business Naming
We helped the founder choose a business name that clearly communicates what the platform offers, which is better for SEO, AEO, and a modern user experience.
It’s easy to spell, easy to remember, and clearly articulates what the site offers which reinforces memorability and value with customers for return visits.
Securing a clean, exact-match domain from the start avoided brand dilution, awkward URL workarounds, and future discoverability challenges.

The buy flow: Inspo → Click → Shop
Best Outfits Today’s buy journey:
- Users discover curated looks
- Click an outfit
- See every piece used in the look
- Shop each item through affiliate links
- Save outfits or pieces to a personal “Closet” (known elsewhere as “save to favorites”
- Get recommendations for similar looks
This trumps the typical Pinterest outfit experience by far. Instead of endless scrolling searching, distraction, and broken links that lead to dead ends, users are guided toward instant shoppability and a structured, reliable, curated wardrobe-building experience.
And because the business earns through affiliate links, keeping the user journey effortless was essential.

UX Foundations: structuring an affiliate commerce engine
Due to the complexity of the project and potential technical constraints with a fully affiliate platform (no cart), We started with simple wireframes for the three main parts of the product so we’d be able to present ideas to developers and quickly iterate.
Homepage
A clean editorial-style layout featuring “Outfit of the Day,” quick filters, and curated outfit grids.
Outfit Page
A full breakdown of each curated look. Users can view all pieces, save the outfit, shop instantly, and browse add-ons or similar looks.
Closet Page
A personal space where users save and organize their favorite outfits and items. It creates stickiness and encourages return visits.
The filtering system: narrowing choice to help users find outfits for their personal use case
Fashion is personal, so the filtering experience needed to be powerful but friendly.
We designed a multi-layer filtering system with options for:
- Occasion (travel, wedding guest, work, everyday, cruise, Greece looks)
- Plus-size visibility
- Budget tiers
- Specific stores
- Editorial color palettes
- Sorting by new arrivals, popularity, price
The color palette filtering became a standout feature — grounded in stylist behavior rather than generic color grids.

High-fidelity design: Bringing the brand to life

Once structure and logic were validated, we moved into high-fidelity designs.
We used the design system to create pixel-perfect pages that expressed the brand’s soft editorial style. Every margin, interaction, and layout was carefully crafted for clarity and ease of development.
Deliverables included:
- Responsive desktop + mobile layouts
- Production-ready Figma files
- Structured component library
- Clean card system for scalability
- Interaction states
- Micro-behaviors for hover, save, click
Lead generation landing page: A smart growth layer
To help BOT build an audience and monetize early, we designed a dedicated lead-gen sales page promoting a digital styling guide: “30 Effortless Outfits Using 10 Timeless Pieces.”
The page uses an editorial layout, clear value breakdowns, a refined aesthetic, and a strong CTA.
It supports the business by:
- Capturing emails
- Generates direct revenue via Stripe
- Builds brand trust
- Feeds users back into the main platform
- Diversifies income beyond affiliate dependency

From launch to 15 million views, 28.2K followers in 1.5 months
A brand is only as strong as its ability to resonate with its audience. To validate the Best Outfits Today visual language and market fit, our client leveraged the new brand identity and tone across social channels.
The results were immediate and explosive. By maintaining the refined, editorial aesthetic and creating strategic video content, the platform achieved:
- Viral Reach: Over 15.2 million views within a 40-day window.
- Rapid Acquisition: Scaling from a baseline of 217 followers to a community of over 28,200 engaged shoppers.
- High-Intent Engagement: Converting social discovery into platform traffic, proving that the “shoppable inspiration” model addressed a massive, underserved pain point for women online.
This surge in growth wasn’t just a vanity metric; it was a stress test for the brand’s scalability. The visual system remained cohesive across platforms, reinforcing the “warm personal stylist” feel even at a massive scale.

Developer handoff: Clear, organized, and scalable
We prepared a complete, developer-friendly handoff that included:
- the mini design system
- component library
- typography and spacing rules
- responsive documentation
- naming guidelines
- interaction notes
- export-ready assets
Everything was labeled and structured to reduce engineering ambiguity.
Outcome
Best Outfits Today launched as a:
- fully structured curated affiliate platform
- scalable brand identity
- business-aligned UX foundation
- powerful filtering engine
- hybrid monetization model
